Summary
Hinata often reminisces on the feeling of freedom. He distinctly remembered it as the feeling of dirt between toes and the scent of apricots, fresh on a summer’s day. He remembers it as casual walks along the storefront in town and the feeling of wind sweeping through hair as he ran, the soles of his feet slapping against cobblestone paths before raising once more in a stride. He hadn’t been able to taste freedom in ages.... yet he often finds himself hoping for liberation. Freedom was a friend to him, one that left him when he was young. In its place, lay shackles.Atsumu knew that the moment his beloved took off in flight that nothing good would result, but he didn't care. He watched as his darling flew, soaring majestically in the sky, a trail of wax and feathers behind him. And, as their fingertips brushed one another, electrifying them both, Atsumu never felt happier.

“Don’t miss me too much. I know ‘m awesome, but you don’t have to flatter me with those words, Sho-chan,” Atsumu teased.Hinata sat up, abruptly. He stared down at Atsumu, his face indifferent. Confused, Atsumu frowned and stared at the boy. His confusion lasted a full 10 seconds because, almost immediately, grass was shoved in his mouth and down his throat. The sound of laughter reached his ears and his brain processed the actions.

Summary
Naruto Uzumaki has lived what he would consider a fulfilling life. He became powerful. Achieved his dream of becoming Hokage, and was actually pretty good at it. Got married. Had kids. Even had grandchildren. Helped lead Konohagakure into an age of prosperity. Heck he even saved the entire world multiple times. Sure, he has regrets. Who doesn’t? But he never dwelled on them. After all, you can’t change the past, right?
Right?
This story contains canon events, non-canon events, overpowered MC (anyone who says Shadow Clones aren’t broken is a liar), emotions, silliness, serious ninja business, and plants.
Still being worked on, but don't expect updates often. This is something I write on fairly randomly, so you'll get a chapter every month or two.

Kakashi was tired.
A couple times he still second guessed himself. Wondered if it would be better to fail the team and let whatever happens to them happen.
But every time he saw the photo of his old team, he remembered why he couldn’t.
He couldn’t let that happen to them. This system had already screwed them over. The people who were supposed to care for them had done the opposite.
Kakashi wasn’t going to be another adult who let these kids down.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen. And maybe I’ll only make things worse…” Kakashi murmured softly to the framed photo at his bedside. “…But I have to try.”
He had to. Or these pups were as good as dead.
OR: Kakashi realizes how bullshit it is that Team Seven was even a team in the first place, and does things differently. Screw Hiruzen for putting him in this position.

Summary
The elders of the Hyuuga clan are disappointed by Hinata's lack of battle prowess. In order to 'motivate' her to become better, Hiashi activates Neji's curse mark in front of her. Horrified by this turn of events, Hinata starts researching ways to remove the marks from the branch family. Somehow she manages to recruit Naruto to her cause, and together they grow a whole lot wiser and a whole lot deadlier.
