Summary
Despite being out of the 20th century for a few years, Steve still has the tongue of the 40’s when he's not at the office. The slang is for the most part comprehensible, but sometimes it’s hard to put together what he’s exactly saying. Especially when he first joined the modern world, and it was at full force in a conversation if he could help it or not.

Summary
It was the big day to everyone but Bucky. To him, it’s just supposed to be a simple date night with his patriotic doll. And Steve was sure to keep him thinking that. He wanted to treat Bucky right that night, and even though Bucky has never been a fan of surprises, he had a feeling he’d like this one.
Until Bucky falls ill on the big night, and watching his favorite show (The Price is Right) gives Steve a great idea.

These were not the initial plans for the day. It was a relaxing day off from the rest of the team. Or at least, this part wasn’t planned to Bucky. But for Steve it’s going perfectly. He fully plans on popping the question before they leave the arcade they’re currently in.
Steve decides to be a cute punk in the way he finally proposes Bucky.

Summary
It’s been a few years since Bucky has been living in the Avengers tower on Steve’s floor, since he regained his memories, and the two out of time are in their reclaimed relationship. Many free days are spent in the tower, where their relationship continues in peace with their many friends around them. When they do travel, it can be difficult to do it as one big group with exactly who they are. Sometimes they do get the chances to visit places, others some would consider a required experience of the 21st century.
Such as going to the most popular warehouse store known as Costco.

Steve Rogers is in the 21st Century alive and well, and when not in the office or just in daily life he still works his way back into his 40's Brooklyn tongue when he's comfortable enough. There are a few of the tellings of how he and Bucky are able to annoy the rest of the team, especially Tony, with their outdated slang.
