“Where are we?” He asked sofly.
The man gave him a conflicted gaze and a deep set frown settled on his face as he answered. “The thirteen realms of Pledis.”
“But…but that’s not real…” The teen blinked several times before reaching over to pinch himself, hoping that he was just dreaming and that the little stunt would wake him up. But to no avail, he was very much awake. “The thirteen relms are nothing more than fiction in my favorite novel…”
“Novel?” The man snorted again. “This is far from a novel.”
And then it clicked...if this place was real then the man before him was the assassin and main character of his favorite book. “I must be dreaming....or I came down with a nasty cold....this can't be real.”
“What's real is that I found a stranger lingering in my closet just asking for an execution.”
“No!” Jeonghan rose his hands, stopping the man from taking a step forward. “I think there is magic playing with us...I'm from a different world, one where you and this realm is nothing more than a story book.”
“My life…a story?” The assassin tisked, lowering his weapon and shoving it back into the holster. “You must be completely mad.”
“I’m not, I swear!”
