Did you break one of my prized frog possessions or something?”Of all the things to fucking say, of course Naruto would come up with something so utterly stupid and incomprehensible that - Sasuke realised with a jolt - it would unknowingly bring him out of his perpetual downward spiral of thought and tumultuous emotions. It let him finally pull himself together enough to tell Naruto what he’d been building up for so long.

“Whats a joke?” The stanger pulled his hood down and Naruto gasped again. He kept blinking his eyes and even rubbed at them. “Have I- have I officially lost it?” Naruto gaped out loud. Sasuke smirked, “you lost it a long time ago Naruto.
“Stop it. Stop talking. There is no way this real. How do you look and sound exactly like sasuke?” Naruto questioned angrily.
“Uh maybe because I am Sasuke?” Sasuke took a step closer to Naruto leaned in so they were face to face. “Am i dreaming? Pinch- pinch me so i can wake up.”
“If you insist.” Sasuke shrugged, grabbing Narutos hand and pinching his arm hard. “Agh fuck! That hurt you asshole.” Naruto glared, his eyes teary.
“Hey you told me to pinch you!”
“Pinch me again. You are not real and im just imagining this entire scenario.” Naruto demanded, his brows furrowed into a glare.
