Osha thinks that Qimir looks like even more of an asshole now than he ever did in law school.
Which is really saying something, because he had also consistently looked like an asshole throughout their three years of law school together.
But big-shot attorney Qimir is an entirely different beast from law student Qimir.
She thinks it’s in the tailored suit. Or in the polished leather shoes. Or in the year-end bonus that he wears on his wrist. Or in the insufferable smirk on his face as makes small talk with a passing faculty member—an insufferable smirk that only seems to widen when he spots her, his gaze calculated as he undoubtedly sizes her up.
(Alternatively, two former law school rivals reunite at an alumni event. What could possibly go wrong?)

Summary
Fairly new to Japan and still learning the language, Osha has landed a job as a hostess in Ginza, a high-end area of Tokyo. It's there that she meets Qimir, a friendly, English-speaking employee, and they become fast acquaintances.
A story about messy attraction, pining, a splash of borderline obsessive behavior and a fair amount of morally gray behavior.
He's sweet on her, but all bets are off when it comes to others. She's a little naive, mainly because of the language gap. If you like your Qimir a little sketchy, come stay a while.
This will somehow also give cozy vibes, because, well, it's what I do.
I'll aim for one update a month. For funzies, let's say this is 12 chapters.
