Summary
“So…,” Ryland says. “How exactly do we get to Romania?” Eva pauses what she is doing and glances up at him, just to verify that the seriousness in his voice matches his face before she lets herself react fully to the development.
“You want to go still?”
He shifts in his seat. “Do you not?”
“I thought you would change your mind,” she admits. He looks slightly hurt that she would suggest that. “I don’t want you to feel obligated because I am your boss or because you said you would.”
“I’m going with you, Eva,” Ryland tells her with an authority in his voice she has never heard him use before. “Nothing is going to change that.”

I saw a couple Tumblr posts about how Stratt would first react to Grace's video logs when the beetles are recovered, and I started having ideas.
So here's Stratt watching Grace's video logs. (mostly made up by me ofc but includes some direct quotes of the logs he makes in the movie)Bookmarked by scorpiomilflover

Summary
Ilya stands at the door of his hotel room, and he looks good. Really good. Shane feels his stomach dip and seize in that familiar twist. He’s used to it by now, the way his chest tightens like a band when he looks at Ilya. He can give it a name. He wishes he could give it more.
“You watched my match?”
“Bad tennis.” Ilya blows a raspberry. “I would have wrapped it up in hour and a half.”
OR - Shane at the U.S. Open, desperate to beat Ilya, to claim world number one, and to make this thing between them something real. (it's a tennis AU!)
