Summary
Ryujin seemed to understand, in the split second before Sayeon’s fingers snapped, what Sayeon was about to do. Her mouth opened, her hands started to reach out, and then they were right back where they had been before Sayeon said anything.
Ryujin, by luck or some natural instinct, could see through Sayeon’s lies. She didn’t have control of that variable — yet. For now, the fact that Ryujin could see through her was for the worse.
It made Sayeon sick.

Javier walks along the bookshelf and lays his eyes on Suho’s old journals, from when he had first come to their world. One of them has flopped over. He thinks he should put it upright again.
He doesn’t know what possesses him, but instead, Javier grabs the notebook and lets the pages fall open.
In the margins, he sees the faces of strangers- people who don’t look even a little familiar.

He hunts around the safe house and settles for breaking the legs off of a chair and lining two of them up, with Chuuya’s thigh in the middle. It’s crude, and probably shitty, but it’s the best he(can do)
feels like doing. He glances around the room again for anything resembling fabric, but it’s clearly been a while since this place was restocked.
He could just leave Chuuya’s leg the way it is, but

Now who’s the liar? The voice in Chuuya’s head asks sweetly. You do everything Dazai wants. You question his plans, but you always go through with them. Why is that?
“You were fine,” Dazai says flatly. “You weren’t in danger.” He takes another sip and cringes. “Ew. This wine is shit.”

“So why haven’t you?” Chuuya asks.
“Chibi would miss me, wouldn’t he?” Dazai asks, smirking.
Years ago, when they were teenagers, this would’ve pulled retaliation from Chuuya. He would’ve said Go ahead and jump, then! See if I care!
But now they are twenty-three and Chuuya is much more familiar with how Dazai works. “You left me when we were 18. ‘Chibi missing you’ is not a reason enough for you to stay alive. So what’s the real reason, Osamu?”
