Anthony crossed his arms. “Transformative?”
“It’s tea,” Colin said, as if that explained everything. “Perfectly harmless.”
Anthony narrowed his eyes at his brothers. “What are you two idiots up to this time?”
“Three idiots,” Benedict said. “Careful how you speak about your wife, brother.”
“What is that supposed to mean?” he snapped. His head swiveled to stare at Kate.
She blushed, tilting her head at him. “Come now, Anthony. It’s just tea.”
“Kate, no,” he said, dragging a hand across his face. “You must never listen to these…these…I can’t think of a single word other than idiots.” He sighed. “Did you really drink it too?”
She nodded. “Yes, Anthony. I’m sure it’s fine.”
He sighed again, louder. He pulled out the chair opposite Kate. “Alright then, pour one for me.”A late-night tea session with Colin and Benedict turns into a wild, moonlit adventure where Kate and Anthony fall in love all over again.
