Summary
Planning and scheduling sex is a part of being a parent. And boy, did Buck plan this one.
He’d bought a new bottle of Astroglide, and scented candles. He’d picked up groceries wearing a goddamn plug, just to make sure Eddie could bend him over the nearest flat surface the moment they were alone in the house. Not to mention it was Buck’s idea to not get off for the entire week leading up to this.
Neither of them have come since Sunday morning.

Buck laughs, a little hysterically. ”You’re not serious.”
“Oh, you bet your ass I am.”
Buck can hear the smirk in his voice.
“Okay,” he says, licking his lips and looking up at the vast desert sky, velvet black and wild with stars. “The fifteenth star is Antares. It’s also called the Heart of the Scorpion, because it’s the brightest one in that constellation.”

He mouths at the hinge of Buck’s jaw, curling a hand around his hip to gently coax Buck onto his back. Buck goes, easy as anything, and is met with the sight of Eddie in all his naked, freshly showered glory.
And goddamn, Eddie is fucking beautiful; with his grown-out scruff and the mesmerizing lock of hair falling over his brow, only the shadows under his eyes betraying his hangover. Buck just stares up at him, breathless with how effortlessly Eddie moves to straddle his thighs, mirroring their positions from the night before.

Buck wants to lean over and kiss it away, but he’s way too fascinated by the wistful look on Eddie’s face to dwell on that impulse for too long.
Still, he cannot resist bumping his shoulder against Eddie’s. “Well, you know how uncultured I am.”
Eddie huffs a small laugh, shaking his head ruefully. “God, I had such a crush on him. I just didn’t realize it at the time.”

But fuck if he cares, with Henry stirring next to him, one of his long legs draped over the back of Alex’s thigh. Alex doesn’t need to open his eyes to know the room is hazy with filtered sunlight, spilling pale yellow through the carelessly drawn curtains.
