Summary
“Anyway, Musa, who’s been talking to you about cryptids? Did one of the senpai start telling strange stories about the house again?”
Again, meaning this is a thing they do often. Musa can believe it, in a house like this, so old it seems like it’s seen everything and admitted all sorts. That the strange story that concerns him at the moment is one about Shindo, however, seems unwise to voice.
“I think it’s just someone…” He lets the sentence trail, shuffling through the pages of an imaginary textbook for the proper idiom, suddenly shy. The answer doesn’t come until they’ve crossed the last street, Kansei’s gates already rising at the end of the upward-sloping road. “Just someone pulling my leg, Shindo-san.”
In which Chikusei-so is full of mysteries, and Musa is always just about to discover something.

Summary
Truthfully speaking, it wasn’t Kuroo’s plan to spontaneously confess his feelings for Sawamura, especially if the other is very fresh from a break-up. And while his intentions of comforting him did indeed come from a place of genuine worry born from friendship, there was a sliver of the non-platonic feelings and a not-so-noble part of him that came with it.
