    In this universe, Makima doesn't exist as a physical person but her shadow is far from gone. I wanted to explore a different "Control," one that doesn't have the face of a woman but is born from the trauma, fear and guilt that eats away at Denji from within.

    While retracing the iconic moments of their original story, I have gradually distanced myself from it, reinterpreting the scenes in a psychological and more intimate way. It's about invisible wounds, barriers that break and a feeling of protection that becomes obsession.
