Summary
It was no secret that the Zen’in clan hated the Gojo clan.
It was an ancient hatred, one rooted to the core of their souls. It had been allowed to ferment over centuries and it appeared that a curse had been born: one that established that no matter what, a Zen’in and a Gojo should always hate each other.
There was very little about what Maki knew about the Gojo clan, other than the old hatred between their families. She knew that their leader, Gojo Satoru, had become the head of his clan at the age of eighteen, the youngest of the three clans. He was also an Alpha like Naobito and Naoya, something that strangely seemed to make her stupid cousin proud of. There were more rumors surrounding his clan, like the one that said a monster lived in the basement of his mansion.
And that was exactly why Maki couldn't understand why there was no monster there, only a boy who didn't look at all like a Gojo, and who seemed to be even more afraid of her.

Satoru gave him a solid look, getting cut off from the question. “Your fiancee from the Zenin clan, the deal I signed with them in exchange for a truce between our families.”
Yuta spat all the liquid from his mouth with such force.
“W-What?!” he wheezed, looking like his cousin just said the joke of the century. Nah, he had no memory of signing up with this.
“But aren’t we enemies?!”
