“If I could do that, this wouldn’t be happening,” Castiel muttered, but he obligingly put his hand in Dean’s and allowed the man to help pull him up. He swayed dangerously, and Dean rested a hand to his back, steadying him. His touch was warm, and Castiel found himself leaning into it.
Castiel is getting desperate for sleep, and when his roommate suggests he find a cuddle buddy, he figures it can’t hurt to give it a shot.

Summary
When no good deed goes unpunished, Dean ends up sentenced to community service for physically defending another Omega at his job. That is, at his former job. It's all a steaming pile of shit, and that's exactly what he has to clean up at the joint animal shelter and clinic he's been assigned to.
With a face full of allergies and a horrific mood, all Dean has to do is get through six weeks of this sinus-assaulting torture. That's not so easy with a smartass Alpha receptionist, but at least the weird Beta vet might just end up being kinda cool.

Summary
When Dean stumbled into his tavern, half dead, five weeks ago, Cas had no idea how deeply the boy would burrow his way into his heart.
He also had no idea that there'd be a day he'd wake up and find Dean gone.
Cas is strange, and quiet, doesn't like talking to people. He has rarely ventured outside of his inn, and never traveled beyond the nearest town. He's liked it that way, knowing how cruel people can be, knowing that with his....social difficulties, he's easily taken advantage of.
But Dean is even more vulnerable than he is. And now he's gone, having disappeared in the night. Cas can't let him vanish into thin air, can't abandon the boy to the world that has treated him so cruelly.
The outside is not a place Cas is comfortable venturing into. But it is where he's going to have to go, if he ever wants to get Dean back, and make sure the boy is safe.

This the third installment in the Wander Home verse, which follows Dean and Cas as teenagers in the middle ages, trying to handle traumatic pasts and find their way in the world.

Summary
It’s been a year. A year in which Sam has seen Dean at least a dozen times. From afar at his in-laws. At the other end of a store. On TV. In a blurry photo in a case file. Increasingly, it's locations where it would be highly unlikely that Dean would ever show up even if he was still alive. So, finally, Sam gives up searching. He decides that he has to do what is best for his family and accept that his brother is dead, so that he can concentrate on raising his daughter and loving his wife.
And that's when he meets Cas. On a beach in California of all places.
