It started small. Loop would make a snide remark. A mocking comment. Would whisper something in Siffrin’s ear while he was making one of his terribly forced smiles, instantly morphing the rogue’s cloying mask into one of genuine irritation.
Though Odile couldn’t deny it pleased her to see Siffrin express a wider range of emotions—especially the more negative ones they tended to keep from their family members (It didn’t take Odile’s usual level of observation to notice that Siffrin’s long silences and avoidant moods had become more sparse) — she still wished there were a more…productive way of producing such results.

"Why do you look at me like that?" Siffrin asks.
I've seen you die, Mirabelle thinks. I've seen you carve lines through your neck, I've seen you choke on air, I've seen you been crushed by a rock, I've seen you smile at me like it's the last thing you'll ever do.
And, damningly, I could never have imagined you with two eyes.
Mirabelle looks away, feeling her face flush. "No reason!!!"

Looping in time leaves imprints on the time-space continuum, repetitive steps woven into the very fabric of reality. Ghosts of loops haunt the prison that once was, or… the prison that will be.
(aka, years before the world freezes, mirabelle is haunted by the ghost of a friend she's yet to make. how can she possibly save someone she already knows is doomed?)

But as you get closer, you have to squint your eyes to make against the kneeling shape before the statue.
Eyes widening, you realize… it’s Siffrin, outlined in the dark.He is lowered to the ground before the shrine, holding tightly a miniature statue of the Change God, incomprehensible muttering leaving their lips.

or, feeling betrayed by loop, and by proxy, the universe, siffrin turns to the change god in act 5. mirabelle finds him in the midst of his rambling prayer.
