"Please stand back," the safety team member implored, the words carrying a weight of professionalism and a genuine concern for Lando's safety.
"Wait! I can't just stand here!" Lando's voice cracked with emotion, his hands, still trembling from the failed attempts to free Oscar, reached out as if trying to physically pull back the hands of time, but there was no reply.
All Lando could do was watch, as Oscar was gently extracted from the cockpit, relief washed over him as he observed the medical team securing Oscar onto a stretcher. They monitored vital signs, and Lando's anxiety lessened with each positive sign of life, he needed to be with him.

Basically: the entire grid, apart from (Daniel) and Checo, are gay and there is a super secret chat called the F1 Fruit Vendors where they talk all things SLAY AND GAY (Daniel's words).
Chat and longer form writing fic that began silly but quickly became angsty. So it’s a real mix of silly miscommunication shenanigans and angsty miscommunication drama in the fruity orchard. If there is one thing we know about the orchard - there will be miscom, horny shenanigans and angst.
It begins in 2024 and is now going into the 2025 season. It features an insane amount of people - too many for the tags - but F1 and some F2 people, and some oldies pop up every now and then. Get ready for one hell of a ride through emotionvile!

Feeling like the most important thing in the world when they look at you like that ? Like nothing else matters ? Always seeking physical contact because once you got a taste of that specific drug you can not live without it anymore ?That kind of closeness is normal though for teammates, right ? Right ? That doesnt mean you are in love ? Or does it ?
Alternative summary: Oscar is falling head over heels and hard for his first teammate in F1 and needs some time to grasp that aka denial. Lando is falling head over heels and hard for his new teammate in F1 and needs a whole lot of time to grasp that aka obliviousness. Their shared high stress work environment is not always helpful. Their shared friends at least try to be helpful. Chaos, a lot of "Thats normal though, right?" moments and literally any other person on the grid realizing their feelings before them ensues. Also, a loooooot of touching and cuddling because, honestly, why not ?
Buckle up, this ride will be crazy but definitly worth the hassle ;)
