Francis held out his other hand towards Arthur, gently holding his face in his hand — his thumb gently drawing circles into his cheek. The motion continued to pull him closer to reality. He felt himself melt into the touch, much to his displeasure. Due to this, he can only assume that he looks like hell. Who is he kidding, of course he does — there’s no doubt about it. If it was any other day, Arthur would make a snarky comment, Francis would then retort back with one of his own. But today isn’t normal, nothing will be normal again.
