Summary
Regulus hasn’t seen or heard much from his boyfriend in a few days. He doesn’t blame James, not at all. He knows that things have been a bit tough, between moving out of his childhood home and into his own flat with Marlene after finishing his undergraduate degree and not having his mum and dad around him anymore. It was sudden, even if he was expecting it, and Regulus knows that James isn’t doing well.

Regulus turns around to see Evan walking up to him, pulling out the chair beside him and sitting in it, leaning over Regulus’ shoulder to look at what he’s writing. Regulus raises an eyebrow at him, then shakes his head and looks back to his parchment, a quiet disappointed sigh leaving his lips.
“He went on a date,” Regulus informs Evan, almost bitterly.
