Summary
You've decided to retire romantically and move off to a quiet town where the only love you expect to experience is in the pages of your romance novels. That is, until you meet Elliott, a writer who's as handsome as he is irksome. Elliott is fascinated by your belief that true love only happens in books and seems determined to prove to you that a real-life romance can be just as swoon-worthy... even if it has to be done under the guise of "workshopping" the drafted chapters of his latest novel. How can you say no? After all, you inspire him.

Summary
A reclusive, brooding poet obsessed with cravats and Lord Byron falls completely head over heels in love with an emotionally stable farmer who teaches him the power of found family through mutual pining, being an adorable dork, and taking no shit from his family.
Apologies. I'm not great at blurbs.
All joking aside. This is just my long, rambling, Elliott/reader fic that I've been thinking about for years.
There will be love, and a life built together and stupid arcs where they're complete fools. There will be emotional beats, unlearning generational trauma, found family, great friends and bad poetry. Did I mention the poetry will be bad? Please, don't judge my writing based on the poems. If you're going to suspend your belief, let it be over the bad poetry.

Summary
Ilaia was no stranger to managing group dynamics. It wasn’t complicated; just figure out what everyone wanted, decide how friendly to be, prove yourself useful in battle, provide some tunes of an evening as everyone licked their wounds and contemplated their tentacled doom. She had won most of them over by now—but the wizard was a problem. Self-aggrandizing, arrogant, long-winded, and after all that he had the nerve to be handsome? Something had to give, and it certainly wasn't going to be her.
She was either going to throttle Gale of Waterdeep, or kiss him. And she wasn't at all sure which.
