Summary
Jisung feels like floating, a little. Clouds of steam cover the bathroom, hiding him from the outside world. It's safe here, he thinks. He folds his palm to catch the steam but it dissipates, spilling between his fingers.
Which are not his.
If he squints, he can even pretend they are someone's, the ones that touch him gently, that don't let go of him even when they should. The ones that poke his cheeks, card through his hair, that envelop his own — the fingerprints of which his body should already recognize.
He wishes it was like this, bringing his, undoubtedly his, palms to rest on his shoulders.
It is not.
______
In which Minho and Jisung find out they're in love over the course of two days.
(Even though they might have already known it.)

Summary
“You're trying not to tell him you love him, and you're trying to choke down the feeling, and you're trembling, but he reaches over and he touches you, like a prayer for which no words exist, and you feel your heart taking root in your body, like you've discovered something you don't even have a name for.”
Serious conversations, like they always said, had never been their thing. And it was one serious conversation in particular they avoided, the way something avoids imminent destruction.
It lingered between the lines. It lingered in the touches they shared on stage, in dressing rooms, behind the camera, at their dorms — anywhere Minho walked past him, his fingers brushing against Jisung’s waist, or where Jisung touched the tips of his fingers, featherlight, to Minho’s neck, just to make sure he was real. It was felt in the electricity of their gazes, when Minho’s eyes inevitably fell to Jisung’s lips and Jisung suddenly felt short of breath. When Minho’s ears burned bright red from Jisung teasing him — that’s when Jisung felt the most proud of himself, like all the years of knowing Minho had taught him something invaluable.
And that was precisely what they didn’t talk about.

Summary
“Well, how do you say pabo?”
Chan laughs and tells him. They go back and forth, and the world around them fades into white noise. He can barely hear Changbin yelling in the background, the maknaes annoying each other, or Minho and Jisung laughing at something on Han’s phone. Chan even manages to forget about his tiredness, all worries pushed to the back of his mind, until Hyunjin unexpectedly leans in, taps his hand, and asks:
“And how do you say saranghae?”
Chan’s mind goes blank. His face starts to feel hot, heating up to the roots of his hair, but before he can answer, they’re being called to their places. Hyunjin squeezes his hand and gives him a private smile before walking away.
Suddenly, Chan wants to teach him all the English he knows.
or: Three times Chan teaches Hyunjin something important and the one time he learns something important in return.
