    His hand finds Katsuki's, the one still resting on his legs, and he pulls it closer. He holds it in both of his, thumb finding the black band and traces it once, all the way around the circumference of the soul bond mark.

    The pulse that moves through Katsuki at the contact leaves him wanting more than that, even if he won't say so. He feels it echo in Shoto's fingers.

    "Does this change anything?" Shoto finally asks, barely a whisper. As if trying to keep the words from becoming larger than the room. "Between us."

    Katsuki sits with it.

     
    or: Katsuki and Shoto have zero interest in risking their lives for the Triwizard Tournament, but the Goblet of Fire forces their hands by choosing them as a single, soulmated entry.
