He took another deep drink of his wine, all too aware that it was likely not the wisest course of action. But Screwllum’s eyes were brightly intent upon him, and there was a heady kind of pleasure in knowing that a genius had come to him, Veritas Ratio, wishing to learn.
A mutual exchange of knowledge; nothing more, nothing less. That was what he wanted to believe, anyway.
