The Hero of Legend wasn’t home. The Hero could not be found anywhere within or outside the country.
Mr. Hero wouldn’t be able to save Ravio.

Summary
Twilight seemed to accept Shadows' addition quicker than the rest as well, which had earned the Rancher some of Shadows' miniscule, yet existing respect. The rest were either left confused by Shadows' existence, or deeply suspicious of him, as if he could betray them any minute.
Shadow always snorted at those types of glances thrown his way. “Traitor?” he giggled. “If only they knew.” He nudges Four, amused, which earns him a deep sigh.
What was evident beyond all, was how close Shadow was with Four.

He had cursed out in pain as he landed, groaning in agony as he clutched his sword arm. Shit, he had choked out, forcing himself up into a sitting position. Legend shook his head, blinking the dizziness from the portal away, glancing up to see it disappear into nothing.
With gritted teeth he hauled himself up onto his unsteady two feet, body shuddering a bit from the way his tunic quickly soaked. It was wet, cold, and it was coming down hard here, plus none of his brothers seemed to have landed near him. Another curse almost left his lips, until he heard something crackle.
Legend's eyes nearly turned to pinpricks as he felt a pair of predatory eyes on him. An ominous feeling bubbling in his gut, Legend snapped his head around quickly, only to come eye to eye with the icy piercing gaze of a Golden Lynel.
Oh fuck.

Legend gets chased down by an infected, black-blooded Golden Lynel while injured and is unable to fight against the monster in his wounded state. Is this it for him?
Luckily, a different Golden Lynel comes to his rescue.

“None of us are,” Warriors laughed wetly.
“Just accept it, you grump,” Wild chuckled, helping pull their veteran back into the group hug.
Legend’s face grew redder, and then he was hiding his face in Warriors’s scarf.
And then, they had parted, eyes red and faces blotchy, and Four almost laughed at the sudden discovery that they were all ugly criers.
Four looked at the portal waiting for him, waiting to take him home. He cast one last look over his shoulder at his brothers, ingraining their faces into his memory, and then he stepped through.

With all the political unrest from Agahnim's reign, tourists to Hyrule are scarce– and yet, here are one, two, three, four… nine strangers all walking together along the trail. Armed. He has to strain his ears, but he can just manage to catch their voices from this distance.
“...We don’t even know where it’ll be.”
“It seems like there’s going to be somewhere indoors we can stay this time, though."
“And with any luck, the Vet will get us in the castle.”
Link bristles. The castle? The one in the scarf is saying something about an audience with the princess, but Link’s not about to let this slide. The knights are in no state to be protecting her right now, and Link’s not half bad with a sword himself.
If there’s anyone who’s gonna stop them, it’s me!Without thinking past that he leaps out of his hiding place, squarely blocking their path and leveling his blade.
“What do you want with the princess?” he demands.

“Yes?” It isn’t that confusing of a declaration, is it? They did just go over this—they’re all named Link.
“You were a hero? Of the Four Sword?”
Four’s eyes narrow.
“I am a hero, yes. The Hero of the Four Sword. Is there something wrong with that?”
Legend blinks. “What? No, I just—” He stops abruptly. Shakes his head. “Sorry, never mind.”
Or: a chronicling of all the times Legend is weird around Four, and how the Chain finds out why.
