Summary
Valar loves routines, loves control, loves always keeping everything in its proper place. He wakes up, makes his bed with perfect precision, has his breakfast — black coffee and toast accompanied by homemade jam made from sweet, fresh fruits. He loves a clean and organized environment, so that his mind can also remain clear and organized.
But that changed drastically ever since he and Aerion started sharing an apartment — his parents’ idea, of course. They thought it would be a good way to supervise Aerion during his time at university and, so, in Valar’s second year in the course, Aerion was invading his apartment.
His younger cousin was very expansive, and it didn’t take long for the apartment to start reflecting that. The floor was constantly littered with discarded clothes and jewelry, wrinkled fabrics that scratched against Valar’s bare feet when he crossed the room. The furniture, once perfectly aligned, was always slightly out of place, as if the entire house had been pushed a few centimeters off its axis.

Then Aerion opened his eyes in the middle of the song, and it was as if something invisible pulled his attention directly toward Valarr, as if he felt it, as if he recognized his presence even in the middle of that chaotic crowd. Their violet eyes met instantly, and the world seemed to stop. Valarr felt his breath fail, his heart slamming so hard it hurt. For a second — just one second — Aerion looked surprised, shocked, as if he couldn’t believe what he was seeing. But then his expression changed; his jaw tightened slowly, his eyes became sharper, colder, more dangerous, and Valarr felt it cut through his chest like a knife, because Aerion wasn’t looking at him with love, nor longing, nor relief — he was looking at Valarr with rage, pure hatred. Even across the crowd, Valarr could see the way Aerion’s breathing shifted slightly, how his fingers tightened around the microphone, while the music continued and the crowd screamed, but in that moment it felt like only the two of them existed, and Valarr realized something devastating: Aerion truly believed he had been betrayed.
OR Valarr and Aerion have been in a secret relationship for years when Aerion wakes up to the news that Valarr is engaged.

Summary
There is something strangely poetic about winter — the way it can be beautiful and deadly at the same time. One could spend hours watching the snow fall, silent, covering everything with a false delicacy. But being out there, exposed, without proper protection, is another story. It’s feeling your limbs stiffen, your hands lose all sensation, your fingers fail, your lips crack and bleed. The face burns, red and wounded, scorched by the cold. It’s curious how ice can hurt as much as fire. And yet, so many people remain unaware of this.

Ou Mike Wheeler é um idiota ciumento, que fingiu estar doente para tirar Will de perto do namorado em uma pequena festa, e o confrontou sobre a pintura.

Charlie’s trying not to notice how his breath catches when the doc gets too close. He’s also trying not to notice how the bodies keep piling up, unsolved. Neither effort is going particularly well.
