When they kiss, it tastes like salt. It starts as a firm press of lips, unmoving, simply crushing together with the force of their longing and the stillness of it all gives rise to the rest of their senses. Imogen's heart leapt in her chest. Laudna was hurting, and what could she do?
“I can't... I don't...” Laudna whimpered. “She's everywhere in my head.”
Imogen hesitated for only a second. “Darlin', c'mere.” She shifted Laudna further onto the bed and faced her so they were sitting cross legged, face to face. She gently pried Laudna's fingers away, and the other woman finally looked up.
It wrecked Imogen. Laudna was utterly defeated, broken. Her eyes, usually full of joy and laughter were glistening with tears, and held a dead quality that she'd never associated with the vibrant woman before.
“Make her stop,” Laudna whispered. “Can you make her stop?”
In which Laudna asks for help, and Imogen obliges.
Set during C3Ep77, when Laudna, Imogen, and Fearne get back to their room after the ghost battle.

The first time Imogen told Laudna about the storm it was, appropriately, storming.
Laudna’s eyes had been swallowed by a blackness darker than that of the night surrounding them, catching and reflecting even the most minuscule scatterings of light in a way that made her gaze look full with shooting stars. She had taken her leather-shielded hand to hold in both of hers as she listened. It was the first time she could remember someone taking her hand simply to hold.
She said, here is what she knows of the storm: it is unrelenting, it is violent, it is hers.
In the time that has passed since that night the same things that have changed about the storm have changed for her and Laudna—which is to say, nothing at all.

It’s been an extremely hectic tech week at the local theatre college’s production of “The Apogee Solstice” and Laudna, the head of the costuming department, is frantically heading to the costume shop when she runs into (quite literally) her friend and longtime crush, Imogen Temult, the production’s lead stage manager. Imogen is hoping she can steal Laudna away for a moment to go over some line changes in the script, but the lines between fiction and reality start to blur as the lines they recite start to bring long hidden emotions bubbling up to the surface.

Those words keep playing over and over in Laudna’s head after her and Imogen’s conversation they had on the cliff overlooking Zephyra. Even if a god could take the place of Delilah, Laudna isn’t sure how she feels about the gods, unsure if having any of them inside her head would be any better. All she can think about is how if there was anyone she would want in here head for the rest of her life as her patron…..it would be Imogen
