Summary
Standing outside the hot dog store, the sun high in the sky and making him burn in the damn suit, Luo Binghe half-heartedly shoves flyers in people’s faces, gritting his teeth at every dismissive wave.
Until one man takes a flyer and actually skims it, right in front of him.
Luo Binghe watches him, struck by the way his hair falls across his face, the way his eyes, a warm honey-brown, rove down the flyer behind a pair of frameless glasses. The way the red of his necktie pops against a black suit jacket that fits perfectly to the width of his shoulders, the line of his slim waist.
Beautiful, Luo Binghe thinks.
He’s always liked the scholarly sort. Ironic as that may be, given his history.
The man looks up, their eyes meeting, and Luo Binghe’s pulse leaps.
“For hot dogs, these prices are a rip-off,” the man says.
In which Luo Binghe, working in a hot dog suit, falls for defense attorney Shen Yuan, and he wants nothing more than to prove his worth to him. (Mentions of Moshang and Liu Mingyan/Sha Hualing + with gorgeous art included)- Language:
