Summary
3 months after Mike, Dustin, Will, Lucas and Max graduated from high school, Lucas, Max, Will and Mike all get an apartment together in NYC for college. Everything's going good so far; they all got their own bedrooms, they decide on how they'll split the monthly bill, they go to parties, they have good classes and they love what they're doing with their lives.
But a few months after college had began, he was spending a whole lot of time with his best friend, Will Byers, and he realizes something he's been trying to ignore for a longgg time. Just as he thinks he can push it down and forget it; Will gets a boyfriend and Mike really, really hates that. Can he hide his hatred and feelings or will they be exposed?

“God, Will, don’t apologize,” Mike said firmly, no room for argument. “I’m sorry, okay? I’m so sorry, I just rushed into it. Fuck, that fucking bastard’s lucky he’s already dead.” His voice was steady, but there was something fierce under it now. Protective.
Will let out a breath, tension leaving him when he knew Mike wasn’t upset with him. “I didn’t want you to think it was because I didn’t want to-” He gestured vaguely between them. “This.”
“I don’t. But, we really don’t have to if it’s making you upset,” Mike rushed to assure. “We can just talk, or read that new Spiderman comic, or… cuddle, or something.”
“No,” Will said too quickly. “I mean- we can. But I think I want to try again. Maybe I can try to make my brain, like, associate it with a good memory. With you. I mean, only if you want to.”
....or: Will has trauma regarding his mouth because of Vecna and the Upsidedown. He tries to figure this whole kissing thing out, with Mike.

Will reached into the back pocket of his jeans and pulled out a small pouch. It looked almost ridiculous: soft pink fabric, faintly sparkly, and just sheer enough that the contents were visible through it, revealing several neatly rolled joints inside.
Mike’s eyes lit up immediately at the sight. “Holy shit.”
Will held it up between two fingers like a magician revealing a trick. “Jonathan insisted we needed it after midterms. Gave it to me for free, said it was a gift.”
