The boy’s smile grows slightly wider, like Jeongguk has given him exactly the answer he was hoping for.

Summary
"I just didn't like losing," Jeongguk says. "I still don't."
"I can't say I'm too fond of it either," Taehyung responds. He's looking directly into Jeongguk's eyes. "Still, I realized that if I were to lose to you, I wouldn't mind that much."
Jeongguk wants to blame the alcohol coursing through his veins for his ringing ears and rapidly beating heart, not Taehyung, but he's aware that it's too late to deny some things.
