Summary
After the release of Infinity War, Chris and Sebastian each take some time off to recharge. Chris is staying in Scarlett’s lake cabin on his own and invites Sebastian up to come and spend some time with him. Due to busy work schedules and a number of other, more personal reasons, Chris and Seb haven't been as close lately, something which neither of them are very happy about. This mini-vacation presents a chance for them to revive their friendship and maybe (definitely) explore if there might be something more. Over the course of a week, and with a little help from meddling friends and co-stars, the boys learn to build bridges, to be vulnerable and take chances, and to stop letting fear rule their lives.

WAY BACK LAST YEAR, I saw an amazing piece of Stucky fanart which prompted this Evanstan pinefest to crawl out of my mind.
While filming Civil War, Sebastian overhears a conversation that prompts him to confront his feelings for his co-star. He's just not completely sure what those feelings mean.
THIS IS A REPOST. Somehow, thanks to an AO3 glitch, I managed to delete this whole story. I was absolutely distraught to lose all the kudos, bookmarks and precious comment thread discussions, as well as the pics and gifs and footnotes, and I'm not over it. I want to thank everyone who's ever been kind about this fic, your feedback meant the world to me and I remember who you all are!
ANYWAY here it is again, just in case anybody still wants to read it. Please forgive formatting errors etc., I haven't the heart to go through the whole thing and correct them all. I can't remember when I started this story but I finished posting in October 2017 <3

Years have passed since Steve Rogers arose from the ice. In that time, he'd reluctantly joined a team of superheroes, found Bucky again, and after a lengthy process of clearing the longest serving prisoner of war's name, married him at long last. The one thing that had not occurred was a single story being written about him that was true. Something that was about to change when SHIELD proposed a biography be written, with input from Steve to ensure the truth is told.
Enter Chris Evans, historical writer, and life long admirer of the good Captain. Steve was not prepared for the man who bore a striking resemblance to himself, much less Chris's boyfriend Sebastian who had an uncanny likeness to Bucky. More, Steve had in no way anticipated the feelings for the other men that developed over the course of telling his story. Which prompted the question - could such an unlikely foursome become something more than any had ever expected?
