“Well,” Ryuunosuke said. “If you’re truly tired, then we should get ready for bed. But if you’re not quite ready to fall asleep, then I have some ideas for how to pass the time.” Even in the flickering light of the bedside oil lamp, the telltale flush of his cheeks was unmistakable.
Intrigued, Kazuma rolled onto his side to properly face Ryuunosuke. “Oh? Do enlighten me.”
Ryuunosuke removed his hands from Kazuma’s hair, taking the headband with him. “It’s about what we discussed the other morning.”
“You’ll have to remind me,” Kazuma said, letting a teasing lilt enter his words. “I’m afraid I’ve forgotten after everything that transpired with Souseki’s trials.”
“Oh, it was just a short conversation, really,” Ryuunosuke said, setting the hachimaki to the side. “About how you wanted me to bully you.”
Kazuma’s mouth went dry.

Following the events of Souseki's trial, Kazuma and Ryuunosuke finally have some time to themselves, and Ryuunosuke has some ideas for how to pass the evening.

It wasn’t the pain that bothered Tseng, nor the bruises he could see on his legs or the blood died around his fingers. It was everything else about himself that he could see. It was funny, really. Tseng had thought of himself as so tough and so unbreakable and here he was. Still unable to break but so fragile. A silly thing like food being what would be the end of him. What would they say? The greatest Turk to ever live brought down by his countrymen refusing to feed him.
He came to the conclusion that after this long, however long ‘this long’ was, it was better if the Turks presumed he was dead and moved forward with business as usual.
