Summary
The stranger in front of Morty reeked of cheap liquor and booze. The boy wrinkled his nose at the sharp, stinging scent of alcohol. Ew.
The man looked eerily like his grandfather, yet the features were all so wrong. It was like trying to force in a puzzle piece that seemed like it would fit in the missing section, only find out the shape was slightly off.
Who the hell is that?
Or
Morty's hope of Prime returning was crushed, when he realized that the Rick that appeared in front of him was definitely not his grandfather. Moments before Rick (C-137) decided to blow Morty's memories of Prime. NOT rickorty

Summary
Ok, so maybe he shouldn't have called Morty bait, even if that was technically the truth. At first, Rick only stayed because he thought Prime would come back. At least, Morty's memories strongly pointed to that possibility. Though, it wouldn't be because of sentimentality. Oh no, more like someone touched something of his. He believed that Prime's ego would force the man to take Morty back when he would've learned another Rick came and took his place.

A view into Rick's perspective on the events of Season 9 Episode 8 Rickuiem Mort a Dream, with Morty coming to a bitter conclusion. Is Rick feeling guilty? Nope (yes). NOT rickorty

Summary
Smoke and ash. Singed cooper. A blurry, but familiar silhouette on the edge of his bed.
The darkly dressed figure was faintly humming a tune. It was…nice. Morty wondered who this man was, and why he looked oh, so familiar?
The boy picked up a faint whiff of strawberries and floral laundry detergent.
As Morty glanced up, hoping to catch a glimpse of what the mysterious person looked like, he was met with a blurry shape of a face.
The features were all smudged: eyes, nose, and mouth blended together into indistinct smears of colors. It was as if someone ran their hands through a wet painting.
Or
Morty has a whole crisis trying to figure out whether the visions he keeps seeing are real, and if they are, then why couldn't he remember the man behind them? The man certainly wasn't Rick (C-137), so who was it? NOT rickorty

Summary
Morty was thoroughly panicked right about now. His heart rate was highly elevated, and he felt that his heart would beat out of his chest. All the hairs on his arms were raised, and goosebumps ran along the surface of the boy's skin.
"Get off of me!" Morty fought against the restraining arms, trying to free himself.
"Just let this happen."

Summary
Rick Prime actually cared, broh. Morty is sad cuz he died. He tries to kill Eyepatch Morty Earth-Beth-Style, broh.
---
Passage:
"Listen poptart," Rick put his hands on his shoulders, "If another Rick ever comes here, that isn't me. He'll look, act, and sound like me, but that isn't me, okay? They'll pretend to care, they'll say they're me. They're not me."
Morty nodded.
"Remember what I told you?"
Another nod, "Only we can protect each other. We do what we have to do. This is how we stick together."
"That's right; and another thing," Rick said, "Don't trust anyone, Poptart, not even me."
He'd engraved it into his soul by then.
