    She knows she is not dreaming, because it’s all too… Colin. She recalls last season when he didn’t ask her to dance but rather swept her away on the floor before shattering her heart to pieces. And despite the painful memory, she knows that with all the flaws that Colin possesses, insincerity is not one of them.

    So as he leans over the door, with his hand reaching out to her, she nods her head and with more grit than she realizes she has, she takes his hand. Assuredly. Fervently. Loudly. Just as he was when he banged on the carriage door and demanded to be let in. If only she had known, her life would be forever changed from this decision.
