“I don’t need anything. Just leave me alone.”
Just for a day. I want peace. I like your smile, but your energy is tiring.
Mikage Reo’s expression morphs into frown, then into confusion, ultimately, into frown again. He raises his downcast eyes.
“I thought it was just the anger talking,” he whispers. The tone gradually gets crankier. “But you truly want me gone. You say you don’t hate me, but it is hard to believe when you talk like this.”
“I don’t hate you,” Nagi repeats. “I don’t feel much about you.”

Just you and me, and we’ll go to the beach and watch the sunrise. And no complaining about it being too early, treasure! It’ll be your last request from your boss, okay?
In all honesty, Nagi had thought she would complain anyways. After all, there was no way that’d be the end of them. After all, Reo had staked her claim on Nagi till the end of forever, and then some. And yet, here Nagi stood, urn held awkwardly in her arms. Even as she stared right at it, and felt its weight making her arms sore, she still couldn’t believe it was really here. Or rather…she still couldn’t believe that Reo wasn’t.
“…since Reo’s papa-san can’t stop us anymore,” Nagi whispers, voice raw. “Since…it’s just the two of us…I guess…it’s time to finally go on that trip, right?”
