Chris dares to turn around and face him. He seems completely stunned, eyes wide open as he stares incredulously at the screen. “Yeah,” he replies with a swallow.
“What—What does that mean?”
Chris answers honestly. “It means you’re dating.”
Dad furrows his brows. “What, why?”
“You did that on your own,” Chris says. He does not mention that he changed Dad’s Mii’s dating options to include men as well, just to make this happen.

“Because you’re a veteran at this? Hoping to beat your record? Gonna bank on $8,002 this time ‘round?” Eddie jokes while trying to hide his flushed cheeks. He slaps Buck’s hand away from his hair. “Buck, I’m fine.”
Buck relents, taking a step back. “Fine, fine. You look…”
Buck pauses. His tongue is really working against him lately, because it seems like a cat has it right now. Honestly, at this point, the cat can keep it. He doesn’t need a tongue. He never needs to speak again, actually.
Except Eddie is staring at him with those fucking brown eyes again and his fucking red cheeks, awaiting something, so Buck really has to commit to the plan.
He looks away as he finally says, “Uh, sexy,” before coughing out awkwardly. “Yeah, you look se—good,” he corrects. Buck cannot bring himself to say the word again.
OR: Buck accidentally calls Eddie sexy, then promptly freaks out about it.

Eddie held his hands up, admitting defeat. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and clicked on the clock app, setting up a timer for 10 seconds.
“Alright, Buckley—“ He held up the phone to show Buck the timer. “—whenever you’re ready. Try not to go all Statue of Liberty on me this time.”

“My shampoo” Eddie said flatly
“What about it?” Buck queried, still scrubbing the dishes.
“It’s gone” Eddie said, from the middle of the kitchen.
“That’s weird, I only replaced it last night” Buck said casually, still scrubbing away at the dishes.
“What do you mean, replaced it?” Eddie asked slowly, eyes narrowing.
“You were running low so I picked up some new shampoo last night on my way home. Yeah, I went to that fancy new place a couple blocks away. You kept glancing at it from the window every time we drove past it” Buck said, before finally turning around to face Eddie.
“Why does your face look like that?” Buck said, cocking his head in confusion.
Eddie’s eyes narrowed further.
“That’s not my shampoo” Eddie said, extending his arm outward and pointing back towards the bathroom. What isn’t Buck getting here? That’s not my shampoo.

Summary
Ilya stepped towards Shane and when he didn’t step back, Ilya took the opportunity to wrap him in his arms.
“I just wanted you to know that it would be okay if you did need to do that.” He wanted to make sure that he said the right thing so that Shane wouldn’t be spooked. He had already fucked this up severely. But even then, Shane deserved to know everything.
“I don’t believe in cheating.” Shane stilled in his arms before he finished with, “I don’t own you Shane.”
Everything in Shane’s face shattered and Ilya knew that despite his attempts he had said something terribly wrong.
Shane turned on his heel and hauled ass out of the bedroom. By the time Ilya could catch up to him, he was gone.
And now Ilya was speeding to Montreal because four days was far too long for comfort.
OR the one where Ilya tells Shane he can see other people and then regrets it.
