It was not a secret he loves to watch Caelus sleep peacefully. Back then, shame and guilt were all he could taste, apologizing silently for inappropriate glances and collected himself before other emotions could bloom. Right now, those feelings are only fueling his desire like some sort of sick obsession. He could not help but smile, cocky with the fact that he could see Caelus so defenseless, burning the image of the sleeping figure behind his eyelids.

One time, he sees As I've Written - the seed of Amphoreus, the fruit of time and labour of the Chrysos Heirs across epochs of struggle - burn into flames, turn into ashes, scattered in zero gravity. He wakes up, panicked, and chooses to fall.
And where else can he fall to, in times of confusion and despair, if not Phainon's warm embrace?
