Summary
He summons every vessel of strength left in his face to open the only eye that he can through the aching puffiness. Blurry shapes, light, Teddy, all morph into one, but eventually Jonathan can’t, anymore. He reaches up, one final attempt at some kind of clarity, and he doesn’t know what part of Teddy he finds, but he holds on anyway. He thinks it’s an arm, but it’s enough, pawing at the man like a dog gone blind. Any semblance of contact to soothe every ache inside.
The last thing he feels is a mouth brushing at his temple, a kiss that doesn’t quite know where it wants to be.
A finale fix-it in which Roper is dead, his organisation is well and truly dismantled, and Jonathan and Teddy are left to pick up the pieces—of themselves and each other.

Summary
It’s still that dreamy kind of dark, nothing seeming real, but he knows that it’s time to go, to whistle for Pippa and eat whatever he’s got left in the fridge and start the drive down to Molly’s.
He can’t seem to open the door. Maybe he doesn’t want to face it, this new thing. Having Louis here feels like a betrayal. Harry tries not to think about what his Dad would have to say if he saw the journo sleeping on their pull-out, here to shake a settled sheet and watch the dust fly again.

Summary
"I’m just—" (Harry hiccups) "there’s a lot here."
And – yeah. There are oceans between them and mountain ranges surrounding them and Louis can feel tectonic plates shifting beneath his unsteady feet, pulling them further and further apart by the heartbeat. There are countries of distance, but there are pages and maps and textbooks of shared histories, moments documented and carefully filed away and Louis can’t remember thinking complete thoughts before he thought of Harry.
Six years since they’ve last seen one another, Louis bumps (literally) into Harry on the street on his way to work. In the hours following, they relearn one another and their past as they wander the streets and relive a few of their most significant memories together. Topics covered: what it means to grow up, how to be a real functioning adult in the world, how to stop lying, gravity in the context of black holes, and the reimagining of inevitability.

On second thought, flirting with an alternate reality version of his flatmate may have been a bad idea. (John-centric AU, follows directly on from The World on His Wrist)
