Arlecchino leads the school's meanest clique: Columbina with her cruel giggle, Navia with her sweet venom, and Clorinde with her cold, watching eyes. They mock Furina not for being dumb, but for being invisible. A lonely genius who trips over air. "Most Likely to Trip Over Nothing" — Columbina voted twice.
One afternoon, they corner her in the hallway, lock her inside the gym locker room, and leave her there. The door slams shut. The key turns.

Akito rolls his eyes, scoffing, “Fine. Name’s Shinonome Akito, but now I want your age too.”
There’s a pause, and the boy’s eyes widen just slightly. There’s a glimmer there that makes Akito puff his chest out a little, a brow cocking in confusion. The kid leans forward a tad, out of the shadow, and now the man can make out a little mole under a pretty silver eye.
“Shinonome?” he asks, “Like…the bull handler?”
Specific. Odd, too, considering he’s never seen the kid.
“...Mhm?”
The boy bites his lip again, leaning back once more and tucking a long piece of silky hair behind his ear, Akito notices how thin his fingers are, can see all the bones and a faint green-ish vein trailing up his middle finger.
“Aoyagi Toya,” he introduces himself, and Akito half expects him to put that dainty finger out and have him kiss a ring, but the moment never comes. “...I’m not 21, like you said.”

Jude holds Lucas in place under him, feeling every shudder beneath his finger tips. And poor Lucas can only do so much.
His whimpers continue to stumble out, his hips twitching and bucking as he tries to stay still. But when the pressure grows and grows, Lucas tries to bring one of his hands to help relieve it. Jude frowns.
He collects both of Lucas’ hands swiftly with one of his, pinning them against the wall, above his head.
“You took a hard fall today.” He exhales, “Let me make it up to you.”
