Summary
Shiro is the captain of the royal guard of Altea, and sworn to protect the royal family. but when enemies attack the castle, Queen Fala gives him one final command with her dying breath: protect her daughter, Princess Allura, at all costs. as they flee into the wilderness, Shiro must find a way to keep Allura safe and help her restore her lost crown - or their entire kingdom will perish at the hands of the Galra.
(this is the main fic in the 'LLB-verse' series, and the only long multi-chapter fic. the other fics in this series are all oneshots and extra drabbles etc, collected together for convenience of organisation)

Summary
fulcrumverse exists because i still enjoy writing canon-esque stories for VLD, but i despise actual VLD canon - so i invented my own alternative canon as a basis for any future canon-esque or canon-divergent fics. as such, it serves as a jumping-off point for future fanworks. the fics in this series represent what i consider to be the core 'canon' of fulcrumverse. i have a full post {on tumblr, here} that explains how i see fulcrumverse working and what purpose it serves.
the key thing is that this is an alternative canon setting in which the Lion Switch never takes place, Shiro doesn't die, and Allura co-pilots the Black Lion.

the main fic of this series is love lies bleeding, and this series collects any additional works/drabbles/etc. that i end up writing in the same universe.
love lies bleeding is a fantasy AU in which Shiro is the Captain of the Royal Guard, tasked with helping Princess Allura escape the country after the Galra invade the capitol. it's long and tropey and full of romantic cliches and slow burn and mutual pining and just all that good stuff. additional fics are just... random extras that don't fit into the main story.
