Summary
“I can’t just—oh, holy shit,” Buck says through a laugh.
“What?” Eddie asks, contorting himself to try and follow Buck’s line of sight. “What is it?”
Buck physically manhandles him so that he’s looking in the right direction and discreetly points towards the aisle.
“Are those little helicopters hanging off the pews,” Buck asks in horror.
Eddie is equally horrified, for the record.
“We’d never have something that trashy at our wedding,” he says without thinking.
Buck freezes next to him. “At our wedding?”

(Eddie accidentally makes a comment about his and Buck’s future wedding. Buck doesn’t even know Eddie’s gay.)

"You guys knew?”
“Oh, Buckaroo, I think the only one who didn’t know here was you,” Athena said, pressing her hand gently on Buck’s knee. “We all knew what was going on, but we couldn’t step in, you needed to figure it out for yourself.”
“I don’t even think Eddie knows,” Bobby added once Athena finished speaking. “But the two of you are the very definition of a relationship that’s been well-built and well-cared for.”
“But Eddie’s straight.”
Athena rolled her eyes in exasperation; Bobby kept a neutral expression on his face, an expression Buck recognized from all the times he’d gone to that man for advice.
“If that’s your only excuse for not saying out loud that you’re in love with your best friend, then let me tell you, you’re screwed.”
or;
the fic where Buck is unable to sleep at home since Eddie returned from Texas and finds answers to questions he had not yet asked himself.

Summary
“Don’t steal him from us. We were talking!” Maddie says to Buck.
Buck sticks his tongue out. “I call dibs.”
“You can’t call dibs on a person, Evan. Do we need to have the ‘people aren’t objects’ talk?”
Buck’s hold on Eddie’s hand tightens, like Maddie was about to pull Eddie back down. He has never been more happy to be in the middle of a sibling war. Or… to be called dibs on? Eddie doesn’t know, but his heart is fluttering, and that traitorous warmth is rising in his cheeks.
Buck is a great roommate. And then he starts kissing Eddie.

Summary
It’s a disaster. There’s nothing for Eddie to do now but rip the Bandaid off.
“I’vebeenlookingatyourGooglehistory,” he says, all at once.
Buck blinks. “You’ve been what?”
“I’ve been—” Eddie breaks off with a huff, and then forces his eyes back up to Buck’s. “I went to the Google home page,” he starts again. “To search the thing about the coupling nut. But then when I clicked on the search bar, the recent history was not mine, because—”
A look of comprehension has begun to dawn on Buck’s face, suddenly.
“Because I was logged in on the iPad,” he says slowly.
- in other words: the slow-moving catastrophe of buck and eddie sharing a search history.
