He shook his head rapidly as he pushed the hand away. "I need to find a four-leaf clover."
Bewildered, Luo Binghe stood up and scanned the area, trying to see if he could make out anything that would meet his shizun's criteria. He was suddenly aware he'd never actually seen a four-leaf clover before.
How can I track one down, when there's so many?
But Luo Binghe was, of course, determined to please his shizun, so he turned to head to another area.
"Wait!" Shen Qingqiu yelped, grabbing onto the skirt of his disciple's hanfu.
Luo Binghe let out a startled cry as he was dragged down, falling into the clovers and grass and wildflowers as Shen Qingqiu toppled on top of him. Staring up at his shizun under the light of the half moon, Luo Binghe felt his face begin to burn. "Sh-Sh-Shizun, are you okay?"
Thanks to Shang Qinghua bringing in some baijiu, the Peak Lords get drunk and shenanigans occur between them...and eventually, a few shenanigans occur between Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe.

There's a long silence, long enough that Wei Wuxian starts to wonder if Lan Wangji is just going to ignore him. It would hardly be the first time.
"I don't always hate it," he finally says. Lan Wangji's large hand is a warm brand through the thin fabric of Wei Wuxian's robe. His thumb moves a little, sweeping a wide arc over the angle of Wei Wuxian's hipbone. He seems as if he's not done, so Wei Wuxian tries to be patient. "I don't hate it when it's you," Lan Wangji adds.
Lan Wangji has always been particular about touching and being touched. As usual, he's willing to break all of his rules for Wei Wuxian.

It was only after he had already arrived back to the comfort of the Jingshi that he realized he had forgotten his book. Not just any book, but a book of poems.A book of poems written by him. A second glaring mistake.
By the time he had made his way back to the library pavilion, the book was already gone.
Or, Lan Wangji makes a mistake, but maybe it's not as bad as he think it is.

A few moments later he started humming softly, with his low voice, the voice hushing all other noises. Wei Wuxian felt like he was being pulled in a trance, his whole body relaxed, his breathing heavy, and he drifted off to sleep as he whispered a few last words, "Lan Zhan... you're so..so comfortable..."

Wei Ying’s life is Not Going Well.
So it is slightly less than ideal when, alongside his takeout order, he finds a baby delivered to his doorstep.
An honest-to-god baby.
Like, tiny hands, tiny feet, tiny everything.
There’s a note pinned to the baby. A note with *his name* on it.
“Wei Wuxian,
Meet your cousin, Yuan.
Please take care of him.”
How. What. Who. Why him? Who would trust him with a baby?

Wei Wuxian almost lets out a bitter laugh. He turns back to Lan Wangji and waits for him to correct Wu Cheng, to recoil, to say they aren’t anything, it’s just that he happened to save Wei Wuxian’s life a few times and now he can’t get rid of him. He waits for him to clarify and he waits for the weight in his chest to press against his lungs a little harder, like it does every time his hand finds Lan Wangji’s arm or shoulder and he goes tense under his touch.
He waits and waits and Lan Wangji does none of the above.
Instead, he says, “Mn.”
