Summary
Kamukura has come to understand that there exists two Matsuda Yasuke’s. One that exists when the sun shines on him, and the one that variant dissolves into once the moon lifts itself over the horizon. It is easily explained as exhaustion hitting him all at once. Nighttime for Matsuda Yasuke entails solitude, and with that comes peace, which gives way to his true self.
A self Matsuda Yasuke shows no one.
No one except Kamukura Izuru.

Summary
Everything is grey. Each day a swill of shades that invoke no emotion. All of it blurs into a quickly forgotten mash, and like everyday before, he feels nothing. There’s no joy, there’s not even sadness anymore, only grey. Cold, unfeeling, hollow grey.
His skin is white, his eyes are grey, his hair is black. His couch was… a color, once. He can’t remember which, just that now it’s gone grey. His cups, his pajamas, the manga volumes and the bookshelf he tossed them on: all grey.
Kamukura Izuru’s eyes are red.
