Summary
The reader is a remarkably talented young woman. She grew up as the daughter of a United States senator, groomed to follow in his footsteps and pursue a political career path. Much to the chagrin of her parents, the reader became disillusioned with politics and fled to join the army; a place she felt as though she could be useful. Summary
