Summary
Jaemin loves him. No one questions that; Jeno himself doesn’t even question it. It’s just a fact. The sun rises in the morning, the sky is blue, and Na Jaemin loves Lee Jeno. But Jaemin loves a lot of things like he loves Jeno. His cats, photography, his mom, the fans. Jaemin loves Jeno, and yet, Jeno knows it’s not in the way he needs it to be.
That won’t stop Jaemin from lying. Smiling brightly once he figures out Jeno’s secret and saying, “Of course I love you, Jeno-yah. I love you so much; get better now, okay?” And maybe Jeno would even get a kiss on the lips to really seal the deal. Jaemin hates losing control over the situation, and what’s a bigger loss of control than your best friend dying? He will lie to save Jeno. Jeno doesn’t want that, so he can’t let Jaemin find out.
