The first Tapani proposal was made by way of a ten-being delegation from the planet Obulette.
They brought several lavish gift baskets into Leia’s office, and performed a drawn-out ceremony involving dancing, kazz trumpets, and little in the way of explanation as to what this meeting was about.
It was only after Leia’s polite, bewildered applause that the head of the delegation, Hirva Frane, announced with much flourish that The Most Noble Aterion Balis of House Mecetti of the Tapani Sector would like to put forward an offer of marriage.
