“Who are you, Bruce?”
“What?” His brow furrows, lip curling up slightly with the question as he answers with confusion. It came out of nowhere to him, but judging by the look on the other’s face and the way he delivered it, that’d been brewing for a while.
“Who are you, really? Without the suit on? With the mask on?” Clark steps closer, towering over the other man. “Who’s Bruce Wayne?”
A hand comes up to cradle Bruce’s jaw, his cheeks heating up as he gets to take note just how big Clark’s hands are. It isn’t the first time he’s noticed.

Clark comes over to the Wayne Manor after his late work day at The Daily Planet and gets introspective with his concerns over Bruce. It turns into Bruce getting the urge to make the first move for a landmark in their relationship.
