Summary
Buck's supposed to be having a quiet afternoon before the Diaz's come over to bake treats for Chris' next bake sale. He's not prepared for Eddie to show up, several hours early, hiding out from his girlfriend. He's definitely not prepared for said girlfriend to sweep into his apartment and tell him that he's overreaching and needs to step away from her family, and he is ABSOLUTLEY not prepared for a call saying that Chris is missing. Will they make it through the day, or will this seemingly quiet afternoon end in tragedy?

Summary
Soul marks are known to show up during an event that sets that person on the path to meeting their soulmate. Over ten years after his mark appeared, Buck was pretty sure that he would never meet his, especially since he was so far from the path he had been on when it appeared. After getting struck by lighting his interest in finding his soulmate was renewed, but a few conversations and many secrets getting out led Buck to realize that he had already met him years ago.

Summary
Buck was woken by the incessant buzzing of his phone a mere couple of hours after he got off his shift.
As he reached for his phone he went through the list of people that could be trying to contact him so badly right after a shift. His first thought was that it was Eddie, but they hadn’t talked since he told the team he was leaving the 118 during the Christmas party and it was now February. It could have been Christopher, texting or Facetiming as they had been often, but he should be at school. His next thought was that it was Maddie, but she was still not picking up his calls. He thought maybe Taylor, but they had run into each other as he got back this morning and she knew he had been planning on sleeping and she was working all day. None of them were viable candidates for who was texting him, but they still were all more likely than the name he saw on his screen.
