    Maybe he was starting to get soft. A few months ago Jason would have noticed the alarm to the apartment was turned off the moment it happened, but it wasn’t until he heard the shower running that he managed to piece it together and according to his phone that was twenty minutes ago.

    After Tim comes home out of sorts, Jason can't help feeling like he's doing everything wrong but it isn't until the other points out that he must not have checked any news reports today that he learns Tim is caught up in a murder along with a case he's been working on.
