    Some say that Bloody Halloween, a nearly historic gang fight between two rising delinquent youth gangs at the time - Valhalla led by a nameless leader, and Tokyo Manji, headed by the notorious Manjiro “Mikey” Sano - was the catalyst to many later events in Tokyo’s crime underworld; they would not be wrong.

    Its course is crucial to understanding the sociopolitical climate of Tokyo’s network of gangs, whetting the appetite of many an urban crime historian, but for those individuals that were involved, it is much more sinister.

    Bonds between brothers destroyed as expected - one casualty, one arrest, hundreds of injuries. Emotions run high.

    They say when elephants fight, it is the grass that suffers. Here, the grass speaks.

    “How long are you going to keep this up?” Urokodaki asked him during a visit, Giyuu had barely arrived and the former pillar was already asking questions.

    “I don’t know.” Giyuu said, he was honest about his answer.

    The former pillar went inside the small house, saying something about Giyuu’s favorite food. But Giyuu didn’t hear anything else because before he knew it, he was already walking away, ignoring everything and the world around him.

    After that he never visited Urokodaki again, and the only letter he ever sent after, was the request for his former master to train Tanjiro.

    Giyuu was tired.

    He really was.
