Not because he went the farthest in the infamous pepero game—far from it—but because he backed out like a flustered schoolboy the second things got too close. He told himself it was just for fun. No big deal. No feelings. No meaning. So why did it feel like he’d failed some kind of invisible test?
Choi Yeonjun, a prude? Not quite. He was just… momentarily spiraling over a five-second variety show bit like it was a life-altering moment. The realization that maybe intimacy wasn’t some sacred, untouchable thing left him rattled. What if casual kisses and impulsive touches weren’t dirty little secrets, but just another way people connect? Honestly. Comfortably. Without fear.
So who better to ask for help than Soobin who made it all look easy, played along without pushing too far, laughed without flinching, and knew how to slow things down. He was warm. Safe. A sure thing.
