Kaladin has had an exhausting week and now sleeps so deeply that not even a highstorm could wake him up. Adolin, Bridge Four, and a few others try everything from gentle nudges to increasingly ridiculous methods, but Kaladin remains blissfully asleep. As the hours stretch on, they begin to wonder if they should call a healer, but they can't stop trying their absurd wake-up attempts.
