Summary
Hibiki Hoshino had a talent for surviving things she probably shouldn’t be for a fifteen-and-a-half year old (the half is very important): Class 3-E and the moon saga, academic burnout, and a violin that watched her from the corner of her room like it knows all her secrets. After graduating middle school, she wanted Kunugigaoka High to be a fresh start for her. She'd make friends. Because she needed more than a singular Karma Akabane - as much as they were friends, she did need to make more.
Then Asano Gakushuu decided she was interesting.
"So, Mr. Second Place," she said the nickname with amusement, letting her voice linger just enough to make him look up again. "Do you always make a habit of staring at people who don't give you a reason- or is that just for entertainment?"
He froze for a fraction of a second before that faint, amused smile reappeared. "I'd like to think it's… selective," he replied politely.
